Excel column not importing as Varchar/char

Hi,

When i use Select .......... from excel file into a SQL Server table, all charaters which start from 0 in excel columns converted as INT in SQL Table. I would like to import all column of excel file as varchar/char from excel file to sql table without using SSIS.
