Hi all,
I am assigned to handle a project to migrate existing Windows server 2003 + SQL server 2000 to new server with Windows server 2012 + SQL 2012 installed. As I know, SQL 2000 must stage to SQL 2008 /2008 R2 and it should be not a big issue.
My concern is there are around 100+ production Databases running, 20+ schedule jobs, 20+ replications (all 3 types merge, transactional and snapshot replications are both in use) and DTS etc. I think it is not a easy task but I don't have good idea in my mind on how to migrate them to new platform smoothly. Hence suggestion and recommendation is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Thomas
